The Kitchen at The Arts Center
The Kitchen at the Arts Center will be open for business beginning Thursday, July 8th. We will be serving "Southern Country Cooking". Our meat and three concept will place an emphasis on high quality, freshly prepared, locally produced foods. We look very forward to teaming up with the Arts Center of Cannon County while bringing our arts (in the culinary way) to the patrons of the center and Woodbury. The Kitchen will be serving some wonderful dishes such as slow roasted pork loin, Grandmother Emmye's mac and cheese, turnip greens and amazing meatloaf. We also will have an experienced baker on staff to prepare an array of downhome desserts such as meringue pies, and blackberry cobbler. Readyville Mill will be supplying us with their stone ground grits and cornmeal for our cornbread making adventures. The Kitchen will also feature Short Mountain coffee and delectable biscuits. Our menu will change weekly unless, hopefully, we need to change it quicker! We look forward to having you join us for lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch at The Kitchen at the Arts Center.
Hours: Thursday and Friday, 11-2 for lunch and 4-9 for dinner
Saturday, 4-9 for dinner
Sunday, 10-2 for brunch
We also cater everything! Office meetings, family reunions, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. We can do this off site or in our facility that seats about 70 guests.
The Kitchen is owned by Mitchell Murphree, owner and executive chef at Five Senses Restaurant. It is managed by Heather Guite. Come and see us!
