Cumberland Crafts Trail

Welcome to the Cumberland Craft Trail. This trail provides a unique window into the cottage industries and studios of professional craftsmen in the Cumberland Region. The Cumberland Craft Trail links together individual craft artists’ studios, retail gift shops and art and crafts galleries to offer a complete vista into fine arts and crafts in the Cumberland Region. This tour showcases almost two hundred miles of beautiful country roads winding through the hills and hollows of Middle Tennessee. Watch artisans ply their trade in their home studios or stop by one of the gift shops or galleries that highlights these local artists alongside other craftsmen.

The Cumberlands offer some of the finest arts and crafts available in the world. This region has long been known as cradle for talented artists of all mediums. Nestled in these hills and hollows are men and women creating hand made original pieces of handicraft and arts. See and visit the chair makers, the glass blowers, the potters, the white oak basket makers, the paper makers, the jewelers, the wood carvers, the blacksmiths, the sculptors and the painters. This Cumberland Crafts Tour takes you down the scenic roads and through the beautiful winding hollows on a search of the artistic treasures offered in Middle Tennessee.
