4 KIDS

"Helping kids reach a new stage" means more to us at The Arts Center than just providing performances for students to attend. From Summer Youth Conservatory to our School Matinee Program, we are commited to helping kids of all ages experience the arts through a hands on approach.
In Summer Youth Conservatory students learn the basics of acting, stage movement and voice and have an opportunity to be part of the creation of a show that is performed at the end of each session.
In the School Matinee program students may audition for roles in shows as well as volunteer to work backstage. Every effort is made to cooperate with teachers and school administrators to make it possible for students to perform in shows during school hours.
A number of students annually perform on stage as well as work as technicians and backstage crew in many of our main stage show as well as our newest program addition Summer Youth Musical.
