Soil Conservation Photographs
The photographs in this collection document agricultural activities in Cannon County from the late 1940s to the mid-1970s. The collection covers such topics as farming equipment, cultivation methods, stream channelization, introduced crops, forestry, and the environmental impacts of farming.
Most of the photographs in this collection were taken by W.L Clement (pictured at left), District Conservationist for the U.S. Soil Conservation Service.
