School Matinees

Reservation Policy

We hope that as the 2004/2005 matinee season begins that you find our selection of plays exciting and educational. We are ever thankful to all the teachers who have given us their valuable input. We are constantly striving to make your field trip to The Arts Center a pleasant one and as always, the earlier we receive your reservations, the better.

To accomodate your planning process we will be sending a handbook with your confirmation notice that will help you, your chaperones, and bus drivers with detailed information on what to expect when you arrive at The Arts Center, our bad weather policy, seating, restrooms, etc. We hope that all these improvements will insure that you have an enjoyable field trip.

Please use the order form when making reservations. Do Not Phone In Your Order. On the form specify first, second and third requests. Please estimate as accurately as possible the number of reservations that will be needed. Please indicate on the form the number of students, teachers and chaperones that will be attending. All chaperones (non-school personnel) must book through the school. For safety reasons, The Arts Center will not take individual reservations from chaperones. Please do not ask chaperones to call The Arts Center for tickets. Teachers receive a complimentary seat.

No payment is required at the time the reservation is made. A thank you card will be sent upon receipt of the registration form to the contact person so you will know immediately that we have received your reservation. The contact teacher should make any major adjustments in number of reservations at least one month prior to attending the show. Dates and times are subject to change.

An invoice based upon the confirmed reservations will be mailed approximatley four weeks prior to the perfomance. Study guides will be mailed at this time.

If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, we ask that you do so at least two weeks ahead of the performance date. Failure to adhere to this policy could result in a mandatory deposit of 20% for your school.

The Arts Center of Cannon County welcomes persons with disabilities. Please indicate on the reservation form if special arrangements need to be provided for students with special needs.

Grade levels are specified for each performance. Please register for the appropriate performance designated for a particular grade.
