CHRISTMAS DINNER SHOW

TICKETS NOW ON SALE

The greatest hits of the 50’s and 60’s are all on the menu at Smokey Joe’s Café, a rockin’ party of a show that will have your hands clappin’ and toes tappin’! "Stand by Me," "Yakety Yak," "Hound Dog" and more are the electrifying creations of legendary songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, the Rodgers and Hammerstein of rock ‘n’ roll. This show is full of "I didn’t know they wrote that!" moments that take you back to a different time and place. Join us to celebrate the holidays with such modern classics as "Hound Dog", "Poison Ivy", and "Fools Fall in Love". Susan Samford of the Filling Station Café will provide this year’s dinner.

Sponsored by Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, the show and festive holiday buffet are $20. Since this show always sells out quickly, we urge our patrons to make reservations early for good selections of dates and tables. Performance dates are Dec. 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15 & 16.

The Arts Center is located on 1424 John Bragg Highway, just west of the town of Woodbury, approximately 20 minutes from Murfreesboro, Manchester, and McMinnville and one hour southeast of Nashville. Office hours are 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday through Saturday. For reservations or ticket information please call 615-563-(ARTS) 2787 or 1-800-235-9073. Founded in 1990, the award-winning Arts Center of Cannon County is a unique model for rural arts organizations. Situated in an under-served rural area in a town of 2,000 and a county of 12,000, The Arts Center annually attracts more than 40,000 visitors from a region covering over a 100-mile radius. Drawing on the blue-collar roots of its community, the organization focuses on self-sufficiency, fiscal responsibility and social entrepreneurship. The Arts Center is partially funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission, Southern Arts Federation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
