Jimmie McEachern is now offering private lessons at the Arts Center of Cannon County in the areas of singing, guitar, bass, percussion, woodwind, brass and stringed instruments. With a Master of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University, Jimmie offers extensive knowledge in performing arts as well as current music technology and recording techniques. If those classes do not suite your skillset, contact Jimmie about classes in songwriting, music publishing and music business.


Here is a little about Jimmie McEachern. Jimmie has spent the better part of his life teaching and performing music professionally. His experience inlcudes work as a Band Director at Ballinger Middle School, an Instructor at Johnny Guitars Music Institute and professional musician work on various live productions. 


Jimmie gives lessons at The Arts Center on Mondays & Fridays.

Sheri Morris

Piano, Keyboard

Sheri Morris is happy to be our only piano private instructor at the Arts Center of Cannon County. In addition to the classes she teaches at The Arts Center, she is now offering priate lessons in our studio!


Sheri has enjoyed teaching piano for many years. She loves discovering each student’s personality and style, and tailoring their lessons to provide them the best music learning experience. Professional development is an ongoing part of Sheri’s teaching career, which provides her students with the highest quality education.


Sheri gives lessons at The Arts Center on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Megan Pennington

Dance, Musical Theatre

Megan Pennington is excited to be giving personalized attention to those looking to hone their skills in the realm of Musical Theatre and Dance. Private and small group lessons are available to help students bridge gaps in knowledge of terminology and technique. Whether you are a seasoned dancer looking to improve your tricks, a thespian preparing for a dance call, or simply building your foundation, Megan will design a personalized curriculum to help you reach your goals. 


Megan is a freelance actor, director, and choreographer with a BFA in Musical Theatre and minor in Dance. She is currently a member of BlueMoves Modern Dance Company in Nashville and is a Teaching Artist at TPAC.
