COSTUME CONTEST
We are so excited for our costume contest, sponsored by our education
department here at The Arts Center! Students in Kindergarten - 12th
grade are eligible to enter. When your grade group is called
(Kindergarten - 6th, and 7th - 12th), make your way to the stage where
staff will assist you in lining up for the contest. No sign up
necessary. Parents, you are welcome to accompany your little ones who
might be too shy to strut their stuff alone! Prizes will be given out in
each grade group for MOST CREATIVE COSTUME and SPOOKIEST COSTUME. We
might even have some extra special guest judges...so start pulling your
best costume together now!
MOVIE
Join us for a screening of the classic Halloween film, Hocus Pocus, to
round out the night!
"After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison explores an
abandoned house with his sister Dani and their new friend, Allison.
After dismissing a story Allison tells as superstitious, Max
accidentally frees a coven of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica
Parker, Kathy Najimy) who used to live in the house. Now, with the help
of a magical cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to
stop them from becoming immortal."
This family/comedy from Disney is rated PG.
